Looking back, it does not appear all the reaction in Hollywood to Meryl Streep’s Donald Trump-blasting Golden Globes speech was positive.

One photo in particular that has made the rounds shows Mel Gibson with an apparent scowl on his face during Streep's Cecil B. DeMille Award speech.
Next to him is Vince Vaughn — a reported Libertarian — who also doesn't look too amused about her remarks.

The Braveheart star looked confused and was seen touching his chin as Vaughn is hunched over with a serious look.
Social media lit up with comments from both sides of the political spectrum about the duo looking less than thrilled with her diatribe

But most of the other celebrities in the Golden Globes audience hung on every word.
There was one performance this year that stunned me — it sank its hooks in my heart," Streep said during her impassioned speech. "Not because it was good; there was nothing good about it. But it was effective and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh, and show their teeth.

“It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter.”
In November 2015, Trump appeared to mock New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who suffers from a muscular disorder.

Streep said: “It kind of broke my heart when I saw it, and I can't get it out of my head, because it wasn't in a movie. It was real life.”
It didn't take long for Trump to hit back, as he took to Twitter at 3:27 a.m. Monday from his Trump Tower penthouse and called her “overrated” and mantained he never mocked Kovaleski.

Trump may now be calling The Iron Lady actress "overrated" but that wasn't the case in 2015, when he listed Streep as one of his favorite actresses in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"Meryl Streep is excellent," he told the magazine. "She's a fine person, too."

Streep is a proud Hillary Clinton supporter and appeared at the Democratic National Convention in July.

The three-time Oscar winner also mocked Trump in a performance during a Clinton fundraiser event where she sported a fat suit and orange glow makeup.
